The MED GO SUMP project organizes a series of High Level Training Courses on Sustainable Mobility targeting cities from both shores of the Mediterranean that will take place in Barcelona in June 2019
The GO SUMP project will organize and animate two courses on the transferring processes for promoting more comprehensive sustainable mobility policies and practices.
The courses aim at engaging South Mediterranean cities and foster the cooperation among cities which share a common living environment, as the Mediterranean basin itself.
With the objective to consolidate the capacity building and urban transferring practices within the Interreg-MED Urban Transport Community (UTC) and Mediterranean stakeholders, the course will focus on two key domains identified by the UTC deployed into two parallel training courses:
1. High Level Training Course: “Financing Sustainable Mobility”
2. High Level Training Course: “Tourism & Mobility Nexus”
The session have been thought as moments for knowledge sharing on financing schemes for promoting urban practices and sustainable mobility for tourism cities, as well as for enhancing the transfer of city experiences on sustainable mobility. They will feature both peer-learning activities and the participation of experts.
